Opt-in Flow Breakdown #
The subscription process on your website happens in two steps. This section shows how visitors moved through each step.
Step 1 — Custom Prompt
This is the branded pop-up you configured in Subscription Prompt settings.
| Shown | How many visitors saw your custom prompt |
| Proceeded | How many clicked through to the next step |
| Dismissed | How many closed the prompt without proceeding |
Step 2 — Native Browser Prompt
This is the browser’s own permission dialog that appears after a visitor proceeds past your custom prompt.
| Shown | How many visitors reached the browser prompt |
| Allowed | How many clicked Allow in the browser dialog |
| Blocked | How many clicked Block in the browser dialog |
Overall Conversion shows the combined conversion rate across both steps. This is the most important number on this page as it reflects your true subscriber acquisition rate.
Performance by Browser #
A table showing how each browser is converting.
| Column | What it Shows |
|---|---|
| Browser | Browser name e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Edge |
| Prompts Shown | How many times the prompt was shown on that browser |
| Allowed | How many subscribers were gained |
| Blocked | How many visitors blocked notifications |
| Conversion Rate | Percentage who allowed on that browser |
Use this to identify if a specific browser has a lower conversion rate, which may indicate a display or compatibility issue.
Performance by Platform #
The same breakdown as above but by operating system such as Windows and Android.
Use this to see whether your prompt converts better on desktop or mobile and adjust your prompt settings accordingly.
