Terms of Service

Last Updated: March 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of PushPilot Notifications, including the WordPress plugin and the Console platform available at pushpilot.in. By creating an account, installing the plugin, or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

1. About the Service

PushPilot Notifications is operated by the PushPilot team. The service allows website owners to collect push notification subscribers and send notifications directly to those subscribers’ browsers and devices via a WordPress plugin installed on your own website.

2. Eligibility

By using PushPilot Notifications, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under the laws applicable in your jurisdiction.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

4. License and Use

When you purchase a plan or use the free plan, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PushPilot Notifications on a single website.

Each license is linked to one domain only. You may not use the same license on multiple websites. A separate license is required for each website.

You may not resell, sublicense, distribute, or transfer your license to any third party without prior written permission.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PushPilot Notifications only for lawful purposes. You must not use the service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive notifications
  • Send notifications to users who have not explicitly opted in on your website
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation including the Information Technology Act 2000 and rules thereunder
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code
  • Crack, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or pirate the plugin or any part of the service
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if we determine that you are violating these terms, including free accounts where misuse, piracy, or plugin cracking is detected.

6. Subscriber Data and Privacy

PushPilot Notifications does not store or capture your subscribers’ data on our servers. Subscriber data is stored entirely on your own WordPress server and hosting environment. You retain full ownership and control of your subscriber list at all times and can export it whenever you choose.

We store only account-level information on our servers, including your billing history, account details, and aggregate subscriber counts required to manage your plan limits.

You are solely responsible for maintaining a clear and compliant privacy policy on your website that discloses your use of push notifications. You must obtain proper consent from your website visitors before collecting subscription data and comply with all applicable privacy laws including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011.

We do not sell your data to third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle data.

7. Third Party Services

PushPilot Notifications uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications. By using our service, you acknowledge that your use is also subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Firebase Terms of Service. We are not responsible for any changes, interruptions, or discontinuation of Firebase services by Google.

8. Plans, Billing and Payment

Payments are processed securely through Cashfree Payments. By making a payment, you agree to Cashfree’s terms and conditions. All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

  • Yearly plans are billed upfront for the full year.
  • Monthly plans are billed each month.
  • When you upgrade a plan, any unused value is converted to credit and applied to your new plan automatically.
  • When you renew a license, the renewal period is added on top of your current expiry date so you never lose unused time.

9. Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans purchased for the first time. If you are not satisfied with the service, you may request a refund within 30 days of your original purchase date by contacting us.

In cases of duplicate or incorrect charges due to a fault on our end, a full refund will be issued with no deductions.

Refunds will be processed after deducting applicable payment gateway charges levied by Cashfree Payments. The remaining amount will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Refund requests made after 30 days of the original purchase date
  • Renewal payments where the renewal period has already commenced
  • Accounts found to be in violation of these Terms of Service
  • Accounts terminated due to misuse, piracy, or fraudulent activity

Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.

10. Service Availability

PushPilot Notifications delivers push notifications through the plugin installed on your WordPress site via Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Notification delivery does not depend on our servers being online and will continue to function even during console maintenance.

The console available at pushpilot.in may occasionally be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance or updates. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance. Console downtime does not affect your ability to send notifications through the plugin.

In the event of a Firebase service interruption, notifications may be queued but will not be delivered until connectivity is restored. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by Firebase or any other third-party infrastructure outside our control.

11. Intellectual Property

PushPilot Notifications, including the plugin, platform, branding, logo, and all related content, is the intellectual property of the PushPilot team. You may not copy, modify, distribute, crack, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on any part of the service without prior written permission.

12. Data Retention

We retain account-level data, including billing history, account information, and aggregate subscriber counts, for the duration of your account and for 90 days following termination or closure. After this period, your data is permanently deleted from our active systems. Backup copies may persist for an additional 30 days before being purged as part of our routine backup cycle.

Since subscriber data resides entirely on your own WordPress server, it is unaffected by account termination on our platform. You may export or manage that data independently at any time.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PushPilot Notifications and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of business, arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will meet your specific requirements or that it will be free from errors or interruptions.

15. Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time by contacting us.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, including free accounts, at any time if we determine a violation of these Terms has occurred or is suspected. This includes but is not limited to unauthorized distribution, cracking, or piracy of the plugin. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you in such cases, though immediate termination may occur where serious violations are found.

Upon termination, your access to the service will be revoked. Account data will be retained for 90 days as outlined in Section 12, after which it will be permanently deleted.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page and make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or a notice in your account. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

If you have a dispute or complaint, please contact us first and we will make every effort to resolve it amicably before any legal proceedings are initiated.
