Go to PushPilot → Audience and click the Import | Export tab.

This page is divided into two sections. Import Subscribers on the left and Export Subscribers on the right.

Importing Subscribers #

Use this if you have an existing subscriber list from another platform and want to bring it into PushPilot.

Step 1 — Download the Import Template

Click Download Import Template at the top right of the page. This gives you a CSV file with the correct column structure. Open it and fill in your subscriber data following the format provided.

Step 2 — Upload Your File

Drag and drop your completed CSV file into the upload area, or click to browse and select the file from your computer.

Step 3 — Validate

After uploading, the system automatically moves to the Validate step. You will see a summary showing:

Total RowsTotal rows found in your file
Valid RowsRows that are correctly formatted
DuplicatesRows that already exist in your subscriber list
ErrorsRows with formatting problems

You will also need to choose how to handle duplicates:

  • Skip Duplicates — Keeps your existing records unchanged
  • Update Existing — Merges new data into existing records
  • Overwrite All — Replaces existing records completely

Choose the option that suits your situation and click Start Import.

Step 4 — Import Complete

Once finished you will see a confirmation screen showing how many subscribers were Imported, Skipped and Failed.

Check the Recent Imports table at the bottom of the page to see a full history of all imports including file name, date, status, rows, duplicates and errors.

Exporting Subscribers #

You can download your subscriber list at any time.

Step 1 — Choose What to Export

Under Export Subscribers on the right side, select one of the following:

  • All Subscribers — Downloads everyone on your list
  • Active Only — Downloads only currently active subscribers

The total number of subscribers found is shown before you download.

Step 2 — Download

Click Download CSV. The file will generate and download automatically to your computer.

The CSV file contains subscriber data including status, platform, country, language, subscribed date and timezone.
