Once your license is created and the plugin is installed, the last step is to connect them together.

Step 1 – Open the Plugin Setup Page #

In your WordPress admin, go to PushPilot in the sidebar. You will land on the Setup page with the Account and License tab open by default.

If you do not have a Console account yet, click Create Account directly from this screen to sign up without leaving WordPress.

Step 2 – Paste Your License Key #

In the License and Connection section, paste your license key into the field that says Paste your license key here. Then click Retry Activation.

Step 3 – Confirm Connection #

When the connection is successful, the status will change to Connected. You will now see:

  • Your license key (partially hidden for security)
  • Disconnect, Check for Updates and Upgrade Plan buttons
  • Current plan name and Active status
  • Subscriber usage showing how many subscribers you have used out of your plan limit (for example 5 / 25,000)
  • A progress bar showing the percentage of your plan limit used

On the right side, your Account Details will show your Website URL, Account Email and Plugin Version.

Managing Your License from the Plugin #

Once connected, three options are available directly from the plugin:

Disconnect – Removes the license from this website. Use this only if you want to unlink the plugin.

Check for Updates – Checks if a newer version of the plugin is available.

Upgrade Plan – Takes you directly to the upgrade page in the Console to move to a higher plan.

What to Do if the Connection Fails #

If the status does not change to Connected, check the following:

  • Make sure you copied the full license key with no extra spaces before or after it
  • Make sure the license was created for this domain in the Console
  • Click Retry Activation after making any corrections

If the issue continues, click Contact Support on the same page.

Important: A license key is permanently linked to one domain. If you need to change the domain, contact the support team.
